Anthony Peake's talk in Totnes |
|
Today I had the opportunity to meet Anthony Peake in person a listen to two of his talks (see the post below). I was amazed by the clarity and the scientific background of his presentation. Anthony stays within the scientific evidence that supports his hypothesis rather than making claims that cannot be proved experimentally. Common grounds that we share in our research are quantum mechanics and neurology. It is obvious that things happening on quantum level are counter-intuitive and therefore it is often hard for people to give any significance to it in their daily lives. However, the implications are staggering given the fact that quantum mechanics is the queen of science and everything is based on its principles some of which are non-locality, instant communication, uncertainty principle, wave-particle duality etc.
Newtonian approximation reality has been crushed with the arrival of Max Planck and Einstein who gave rise to quantum mechanics and theory of general relativity respectively. Although the theoretical concepts have been laid down long time ago, it took almost 50 years for some of the most mind-boggling experimental results of quantum mechanics to show us that this reality is far from what most people perceive it to be. These days increasing number of researchers are moving to more holistic view on looking at things, more and more scientists acknowledge the holographic paradigm, that the universe works like a giant hologram where locally distant particles are non-locally connected.
