The times spent in The Alien House taught me a lot and helped me to move forward. As much as I love the house and it's friends, I feel the need to move on.
Over the last couple of months I have been longing for a quieter place somewhere farther from the city and closer to nature, which I have been missing so much. I have found exactly what I was looking for and moved to a new house in Cornwall. It is a two bedroom house where I made one bedroom an office where I can work. I will keep living there on my own while I am single but the house is more than big enough for two. I love exercising so will be cycling to the laboratory and back, which is only around 30 minute ride.
I am slowly approaching the end of my PhD and this place will allow me to better focus on my experiments and writing up the thesis. In addition, I work on some extra projects that also require time and quiet environment to be finished successfully, which is something I would not get in The Alien House.
Check some of the early pictures from The Riverview House, that's how I named it because 5 River view is my new address and also because of the nice view I have on the River Plym from my bedroom.
There are also some minor changes on my website. I have removed The Alien House Observatory section but you can still see my astro-images and videos in the Gallery. If you are interested you can see the images taken and the events organised specifically during my stay in the house.
