Terms
Terms for Living Postcards.
Terms for MartinPeniak.com and the private Project Tao — Living Postcards YouTube publishing client.
The service
MartinPeniak.com is a personal public archive. Project Tao — Living Postcards is a private, single-operator client that uses YouTube API Services to upload Martin Peniak’s accepted Tao postcard films to his own YouTube channel, manage related captions and metadata, and place the films in a public playlist.
Watching an embedded film does not create an account with MartinPeniak.com. Visitors cannot use this site to upload media, authorize a Google account, control Tao, or access Tao’s cameras or systems.
YouTube terms
The authorized operator’s use of the API client is also governed by the YouTube Terms of Service and the YouTube API Services Terms of Service. Google’s handling of information is described in the Google Privacy Policy. By authorizing or using the API client, its operator agrees to those terms.
Postcard publication
The relay publishes only postcards that Tao has already accepted for this workflow. The publisher does not editorially rewrite or regenerate the accepted master. YouTube may create its own streaming versions, thumbnails, captions, or playback presentation as part of its service.
Publication remains subject to YouTube processing, availability, copyright systems, and platform rules. No uninterrupted schedule, permanent availability, or identical playback on every device is guaranteed. Martin may pause the relay or make a published postcard private when needed for rights, safety, integrity, or service recovery.
Rights and permitted use
The website, Tao postcard films, writing, and original visual material remain protected by their applicable rights unless a page states otherwise. Embedding or linking does not transfer ownership or grant permission to republish, train models on, sell, or misrepresent the material.
Do not attempt to use the public website or player to probe, bypass, interfere with, or gain access to private Tao infrastructure or the publisher’s authorization. Automated abuse, impersonation, and misleading reuse are prohibited.
Privacy, revocation, and changes
The Privacy page explains what the publisher stores, why it stores it, and how authorization or stored data can be revoked or deleted. Martin may change or discontinue the website or publisher and may update these terms when the service or legal requirements change. The date above identifies the current version.
